Alberta Association of Former MLAs

About

The Alberta Association of Former MLAs was established following the proclamation of enabling legislation in 2006. Since that time former MLAs have joined the association to pursue the activities contemplated in the legislation.

Members meet to discuss parliamentary issues and to determine how they can promote the parliamentary system within Alberta. Social activities are usually well attended as memories are shared and stories told.

Each year the Association holds an annual meeting. The most recent meeting was held in Calgary in October 2016.

The Association will increasingly be using this website to communicate with members. To join the Alberta Association of Former MLAs click here.
